Giacomelli amongst Lecturers at the Annual MoD Conference

Last week, Zavod BIG announced the final list of lecturers for the annual Month of Design (MoD) Conference. In the beginning of November, experts will discuss the global innovations and revolutionary technologies, and our own Jurij Giacomelli will be featured amongst the creative directors and managers of world-renowned design companies. GDS will be the only Slovenian representative to join the design conference, whose working title is 'Green Excellence'.
Conference moderator Jeff Bickert will also host: Libby Sellers, Curator/Director of Gallery Libby Sellers (UK), Florian Dengler, Creative Director of Meta Design (Germany); Erik Mastebroek, Client Services Manager at Total Identity (NL); Michael Mckay, Director of McKay Explore Design and Consulting (DK); James Mair, Director at Viaduct (UK); Sabine Seymour, Chief Creative Officer at Moondial Inc. (USA/AT); Roland Sailer, Head of Interaction Design at NOSE (CH); and Kun-Pyo LEE, Professor and Head of the Department of Industrial Design at KAIST (South Korea).
The two-day conference, which will take place on the 5th and 6th of November at Slovenijales Bivanje showroom (Dunajska cesta 20, Ljubljana), is one of the main MoD 2009 events, and will be questioning the relationship between quality design, creativity, innovation, technology, strategy, responsibility, and sustainability.
