On December the 1st, GDS gets brand new leadership. With the departure of managing director Jurij Giacomelli, who is taking over the leadership of newspaper company Delo, the new managing director will be
Jasna Petan, MBA. The new leadership will also include two creative directors,
Rok Jenko and
Lidija Pritržnik, while
Ladeja Godina Košir steps in as an assistant director.
Ms. Petan strongly believes, that the strategic renewal of GDS's mission along with an enhanced design team will provide better conditions for GDS's vision implementation and provide long-term competitiveness in the market. Given the strategic importance of developing Gorenje's brand, a professional management program will be established, led by Lidija Pritržnik, who was the previous product manager of design for Gorenje in the Velenje branch office. Rok Jenko, who was formerly the team leader in the Ljubljana branch office, will be the creative director responsible for external projects and for professional project management of founders and other external partners. The role of assisting in the pursuit of the company's strong ambitions and obtaining new business at home and abroad will be taken over by Ladeja Godina Košir.
