What can designers offer to the Slovenian economy

Designers Society of Slovenia (DSS) organized a round table discussion in Cankarjev dom on the 28th of January 2010, entitled »What can designers offer to the Slovenian economy«, which was also attended by Lidija Pritržnik, GDS's creative director from Velenje.
With this round table, along with business representatives, designers wanted to draw attention to the unexploitation of knowledge and opportunities for mutual cooperation in developing new products and services.
Due to the on going economic crisis, the conversation also included the possible ways out of recession and the possibility of finding internal reserves by means of design knowledge.
