Wine Tote for Dolfo Wines

Winemaking is a mix of tradition and innovation, and the sharing of wine embodies a ceremony of friendship; with its creative new tote designed for established winemaker Dolfo, GDS aims to express this rich tradition.

This cooperation between GDS and Slovenian winemaker Dolfo gave rise to the creation of not only a new design for the wine tote, but also a means by which they could set new standards of storing wine and tell a remarkably different story about the way wine is packed.

Marko Skočaj, Dolfo: "This project is the result of my friendship with Jurij Giacomelli and is our attempt to offer wine in a different way. Our goal is to offer excellent wine in useful tote. Our common ideas coupled with the creative spirit of the young GDS team resulted in a great product and an excellent experience."

The new line of wine tote reflects a modern multifunctional design. It is designed in several concepts and versions for one or two bottles of wine. The tote, which comes in either aluminum, wood, or plastic, protects the bottle from damage, while in its storage function, it allows easy viewing of wine labels. The unique tote and its distinctive handle make it a great gift, as does the included special booklet, which gives the reader the history of Dolfo wine. The holder is also environmentally-friendly and can be re-used in its original function or in a modern kitchen.

The tradition of Slovenian winemaking is long and rich, and GDS is committed to recognition and appreciation of Slovenian wine around the world. With the help of innovative and distinctive GDS-designed tote, Slovenian wine can reach even greater heights.
