Waste luminaries communication campaign for Zeos

Communication campaign on the importance and the methods of collection of waste luminaries for the Slovenian public, which coincided with the European luminaties directives stepping in worth sought to present the issue of waste luminaries to the widest possible civil and professional public. At the same time it tried to draw attention to the already existing and effective scheme of collection of waste luminaries by
Zeos, the first and only national, non-profit and the overall scheme of the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment in Slovenia.
Emil Šehić, director of ZEOS: "The campaign for promoting separate collection of waste luminaries was set in a very ambitious way, so we needed a good technical support both in the field of communication with the media as well as in the design and production of promotional materials. We realized that the choice for the GDS business expertise was more than correct already in the preparatory phase of the project. Organizing and carrying out activities as well as the quality of their product within the set deadline were all excellent. The cooperation was coordinated and the satisfaction after the end of the campaign was mutual. We believe that the aim of raising public awareness was also reached due to larger quantities of EE waste equipment, daily collected by ZEOS throughout Slovenia. We will definitely continue to cooperate with GDS in our public awareness campaigns. "
The campaign was designed to be as close as possible to the user and to give him a clear, recognizable and easy-to-remember presentation of this important environmental issue. For all these reasons, on of the most important part of the communication campaign was the mobile presentation of functioining of the luminaries and the recycling of it. This presentation were set in the shopping centers of five major Slovenian cities. Bearing in mind the addressed individual the brochure's content coveried only truly useful information. Another part of the campaign was a prize competition.
It was a pleasure discivering together with the client what materials were distributed and how many newspaper, television and radio articles and content this campaign has launched.
